Hello loyal readers. I apologize for my lack of attention. I have just had my first child and am spending most of my time with that but new posts will be coming very soon. Thank you for your continued support.

Hello fellow grinders. This entry is not going to be a recap of my poker session. This time I have a question out there for everyone. Here is the deal, bad beats happen to all of us, there is always a suckout and our aces often get cracked by far inferior hands by donkeys that raise into our bullets with 9,6 suited. It is extremely frustrating and sometimes it feels as though all the poker gods are conspiring against us everytime we get a big hand to make sure all the douche bags are at our table and will call anything just because they want to see what will happen. Here is my question, when this happens why do some of us feel the need to start teaching these donkeys how to play poker? I mean I get that you are frustrated, but so frustrated you have to start yelling WHY ARE YOU EVEN IN THAT HAND????? YOU SHOULD HAVE FOLDED THAT BEFORE THE FLOP!!! YOU SHOULD ONLY BE IN WITH PREMIUM HANDS AT THIS POINT DONKEY!!!! Why do we turn into “Bad Beat Professors?” Would it not make more sense to just take your licks knowing the odds are in your favor and 95 times out of 100 (or possibly more) you are going to take this guys money? Just sit there, shut your mouth and know that you now have a great idea of how this fish plays and use it to empty their pockets. What is our compulsion to teach these morons how to play. Here is my advice to all you “Bad Beat Professors”, let’s continue to let the donkeys of the poker world be just that, donkeys and we just take our bad beats and let them suckout 5 times so we can take their money 95 times. That being said I think it is fine to help your fellow man out just don’t do it on the tables. If you take a bad beat and get knocked out of a tournament don’t feel the need to leave with the parting words of telling the other player exactly why he is a donkey and how he should have played it, just let those of us still in the tournament and actually know how to play the game rip him apart and allow him to remain the donkey he is.

If you are ever sitting in a tournament and you see someone go all in and take it in the face one spot before the payout structure, you can be pretty sure I am that donkey. I am in a 90 person sit ‘n go with a knock out bounty when the money starts postion 9 and there are 10 people left and I am in 10th. The blinds are not to the point where they are even close to crippling compared to my chip stack, although I am exactly sure of the level. I wake up with cowboys and it is folded to me and I make the standard 3-4 x the big blind raise. Most fold one person re-raises me and the rest fold to me. I figure at this point he had at least a big ace but probably not pocket aces as at that point they would proably just let me hang myself by smooth calling. So since I figure I am way ahead at this point, at worst just needing to dodge an aces, I re-raise all in to which I get a quick call. What does this tool turn over?!?!?!?!? Aces, deuce off suit!!!!! I am not sure what he thought I had but at this point I think he needs to get his head examined by re-raising me with ace rag, however I end up in the situation I thought I was in which was dodging an ace. Well you will be happy to know a douchebag like this doesn’t suckout with an ace, no no this moron blasts me right in the eye by hitting his straight on the river ace through 5. A straight?!?!?! Are you kidding me? He can’t just go the easy way, no he has to rub salt in it by hitting the miracle draw. What a donkey!!!!!!
