Donkeys are here to stay in poker unfortunately, no matter how angry we get at them or how bad they suck out and win a hand, in the end they always lose everything. That is, afterall, the definition of a donkey. They burn brightly in poker for a few hands of glory, but they go home broke at the end of the night. If they manage to make it through the night (rare) they'll just lose it the next day/week.

I had this happen at a final table in a tournament in Vegas 2 years ago. It brought back memories of how angry I was that night when reading your post. Great blog by the way.

On a sidenote, a friend of mine is great at this trick and says the key is to use lotion on your hands to help grip the chips before hand. He always shows it off at Texas Holdem Poker tournaments in vegas and the ladies melt over it eventhough I think its silly.

I've tried this trick so many times but for whatever reason I dont think my fingers were built for it, maybe its genetic lol. My short stubby fingers just weren't meant to shuffle around poker chips like a pro, the best I do is fumble them around like a dope and drop them eventually.
